I’m proud of starting an extra service of Casper Douma Photography. It’s an add-on to my aerial drone, underwater, real estate, food, and landscape photography. This will be another commercial part of the business. It’s called Caribbean Underwater Drone Inspections (CUDI).
With this underwater drone, ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) we can reach 200m (656ft) and stay underwater for 8 hours.
This drone is a mini observation-class underwater ROV. It is built to provide the operator the ability to quickly deploy and visually inspect within underwater environments.
This drone comes with different grabbers to retrieve objects. So, we can take bottom samples of the ocean. Therefore, we also added extra lightning. For retrieving objects we’ve added a laser scaler to estimate object sizes. The underwater drone has a Full HD camera.
What is the underwater drone used for:
- big ships
- Search & Rescue
- Checking coral reefs health
- Taking bottom samples
- Species observations and data collection
- Boat owners
- Nature organisations
- Police (KPCN)
- Coastguard (checking drugs under a boat)
Why should you use Caribbean Underwater Drone Inspections?
It could save you a lot of time and there’s no need to send divers down who could possibly injure themselves. Using this drone we’re not damaging the reefs. Divers may harm the reef because of walking on corals and kicking fins. We can go to places too deep for divers.
Every year people drown in the ocean and often can’t be located. This is very hard for the families. With this service we can make a big step forward in bringing the bodies back home.
If you have any questions about this service or want to learn more about how it can work for you, please let me know. You can click on the button down below. With this service I am available all over the Caribbean.
You might want to consider to combine the underwater drone with an aerial drone to get really helpfull footage (360 photography or 4K video) for inspecting tanks, buildings etc.
